Made in 6 days for the Horror Game Jam hosted by KanashiStudio.
90 percent complete but ran out of time so wasn't able to get it as polished or as content rich as I wanted since I was by myself. (Version 1.0.0 and under)
It is also my first released game made in the Unreal Engine as well as my first time joining a game jam.

They discover that this is possibly the worst and last mistake they will ever make.
Features:
- Japanese folklore theme and setting.
- Ability to fight back against the horrors who mean you harm.
- 2 Playable characters and a cast of charming NPCs
- 5 different endings.
- Xbox Controller Support

I loved it. If you refine combat a bit and expand it into a full story i would 100% pay for it
Thanks. I'll consider it when I'm done with my other current projects.
Great game!! I like it a lot!! Good job :D
I hope to see this game become a complete game, it will be great to know more about the Kakushi Kamen mask, the characters story and more fights
Thanks Azrhyga. You're not the only one to ask me for that. lol Maybe one day.
You’re more than welcome I hope than one day we will see this game being a complete game
Not bad at all! I gave this a review, take a look please!
Luna City 7 Indie Game Spotlight!
Thank you for the in depth review! Very helpful for next time.
Such an awesome game I really want to see more. 5/5
Glad you enjoyed it! Think your playthrough is one of the best I've seen so far. :)
SO nice of you but not sure how to get Ending E I tried a lot but no success. :(
There is no ending E. If you get Ending F, it tells you that ending E doesn't exist. XD Just a cheeky dev joke.
I wasted so much time. :(
I'm sorry. There was also a guide included with the download and it also tells you there isn't an Ending E.
Well...to be Brutally Honest... It was great! loved the little story, characters involved :D Keep it up! :thumbs up:
Thank you for playing! Glad you liked it! :D
Thank you for playing!

Ty for playing.
"This Developer Is... Up to Bat and They Hit A Homerun~"
PROS;
+ The story is your campy but well fleshed out teen drama j-horror, which we all secretly die for! Think of the Urban Legend dread but 10 minutes worth~
+ Having multiple endings was a super nice touch to "pad" the game but in the right way.
+ More than one way to do combat. Friendly firing enemies made this a gas!
+ Sound design is eek! Repetitive and loopy, but EEEEK!!
CONS;
- The combat is either swing or a miss. Bat should have longer reach.
- Having to retry from scratch upon death, AND to the already slow beginning was exhausting... Factor in the escorting Ashl- I mean, Sayaka missions...!!!!
BUGS:
x While talking and holding down the movement keys, the player will move either only vertically or horizontally.

CONCLUSION
"Not a BAT game at all... in fact, not in the slightest. It's the BASE I've ever seen from a game jam. Why this didn't win is a major head-scratcher. Someone has a concussion somewhere!

Da puns tho. lol Thanks for the review. You weren't the only one wanting checkpoints but creating one of those was sadly not possible with the short amount of time I had. But, I'll make sure to include such a thing in future games that aren't tight on time.
Das how I du things, ehehe. You are welcome~
No problem! You'll get them in there or don't get them in there, doesn't bother me- so it shouldn't bother ya~~ Just keep improving.
I caught myself saying "homerun" on this game too. lol Great quality review as usual.
Teehee, this was just a practice run. I'm not used to reviewing on here- feels like I'm betraying Steam or something XD
Thanks so much btw~
you are branching out your brand. XD
Gagaga. I wouldn't go that far- although that does sound nice.
This was just a favor for a friend~
Short and sweet with multiple endings.
I'm not even a fan of horror games but I'm very happy I got encouraged to give Kakushi Kamen a try.
The first ending I got was B and I'm going back in to find the other endings.
Keep it up Crum - you're doing an amazing job!
With love,
Tchii
Thank you kindly!
Hello i played old version! Good story game! I love how the camera view make you able to see 360° right to left , up and down, and little bit naughty sometimes hihihi.. Will play new version soon
I debated if I should restrict the camera somewhat but I decided not to and let the player decide if they want to behave or not. XD
Thank you for playing. If you liked the old version, you'll love the new one since a lot of improvements were made. As well as the new content in general.
Thank you for the video! I noticed the small bugs you mentioned and I'll fix them. Ending C is bit hard to get so I'll spoil it.
- Kyosuke goes to the bath and dies.
- Lead the fake Sayaka out from the dojo.
- Outside, instead of going back inside to Taichi, check the water near the dojo and the big tree. There will be something there that wasn't before.
Old build but thank you for playing!
Kakushi Kamen is fantastic. Short and sweet, but long enough to not be too short. It has atmosphere behind it, just looking outside the starting area at the bright and almost unnatural lights in the background sell that atmosphere. While you can fight enemies, you should never get too cocky. The game rewards patience. Move tactically, assess enemy numbers, cull them. In conclusion, it's a fantastic gamejam experience.
You did an amazing job. Be proud of yourself despite the bad things that happened. Don’t go so hard on yourself. You are incredibly talented. Take into count how much time and effort you put into this. It’s not to waste. Please, keep working on nice games!
Thank you very much! I really needed to hear that! I was honestly questioning myself for a few days now.
Oh sorry, you're actually playing the old build. I uploaded and updated a new build a day or 2 after the first upload. Please download version 1.1 for all the new content and improved combat. :)
where can I find the music that was used in this game ?
Which one? The really active beat or the more quiet one? If it's the former you can't cos that was a custom order for me on fiverr. If it's the latter you can get it from a paid bundle.

It's one of the tracks in this pack.
This was a great game jam entry, short but sweet. Dialog had me chuckling throughout and the mechanics felt smooth. For being made in a week I feel like this game has amazing potential. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, my man!
the game was good
Ty ty.
The game's pretty interesting for sure. I would optimize it a bit further since there are some parts that drop frames.
Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont
Ah sorry for the performance issues. I did a few tweaks to the new build but unsure if it will be noticeable. I'll see if I can optimize further down the line. I did add a lot of little things that may make giving it another look worthwhile. :3
Thank you for playing.
Cool, just wish it was longer!
Thank you! I wanted to add more content too but strict deadline really limited how much I could do while still having it mostly working well.
cool prototype
Huh that's weird. Why are the debug messages appearing for you?
dont know but this idea nice game,
Hmmmm. I did some research and not entirely sure if I can solve it (since no one else seems to have had that problem) but I'll be putting a new build up in a couple of days that will hopefully solve it. As well as fix a couple of bugs, some more freedom to explore during certain sequences and possibly improved combat.
Thank you for playing. :)
